Tim graduated with his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Kinesiology majoring in Exercise Science from the University of Winnipeg. He went on to complete his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta and now calls Calgary home.
Growing up in Winnipeg Tim was heavily involved in competitive sport, namely, basketball and volleyball (beach/indoor). Tim went on to play varsity mens basketball at both Medicine Hat College and the University of Winnipeg. His journey through sport fostered his passion of proactive care and high quality rehabilitation.
Outside of sport Tim has strong ties to the Crohn’s and Colitis community: having helped spread awareness through advocacy and volunteering. He recognizes the unique challenges individuals living with chronic illness face and sees the value Physical Therapy can offer.
Tim’s treatment philosophy is rooted in patient-centred care. In addition to a comprehensive assessment and active treatment program, Tim believes the best outcomes occur when patients are given time to tell their story, ask questions and have their concerns heard.
Whether he’s working with individuals who are high performance athletes, battling chronic illness or just wanting to move better, Tim looks forward to serving the people of Calgary.
